Be the Infection Control Specialist you always wanted to be

• Direct the managerial functions of our Infection Control Program
• Assure compliance with CMS, TJC, CDC, OSHA, and other federal and state standards and guidelines
• Analyze hospital infection data to identify trends, clusters, risk factors, and variances
• Educate staff on infection control protocols
• Develop and maintain infection control standards meeting regulatory guidelines

Qualifications

• Current license or certification as a medical technologist, clinical laboratory scientist, physician, or registered nurse
• BLS certification required
• Minimum of a bachelor's degree in a healthcare field
• 1 year experience in a clinical setting in the field of practice
• CIC Certification preferred
• Training in infection control and/or epidemiology
• Completed post-secondary education in a health-related field
