Assumes the role of leader in planning, directing and managing the Infection Control program to ensure quality service on a 24-hour basis. Meets Joint Commission standards, complies with corporate policies and procedures, promotes teamwork with physicians and all health-care providers, promotes internal and external customer satisfaction, and appropriately manages resources. QualificationsEducation:- Bachelor's Degree (preferred)- Associate's DegreeLicensure/Certification/Registration:- Florida Registered Nurse License or Baccalaureate degree in public health, epidemiology, clinical laboratory science, medical technology, or related fieldSpecial Skills/Qualifications/Additional Training/Experience Required:- Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English- Training: Training in computer operation with ability to abstract from clinical data and provide analysis reports- Special Skills/Qualifications: CIC preferred- Experience: Hospital Nursing, OR preferred, 3-5 years
