Complete necessary reports, review and approve ICRAs and facilities and construction documentation, and maintain records to document infection prevention and control activities. Lead collaboration with program members and external stakeholders to identify areas of risk of endemic and epidemic healthcare acquired infections and from the built environment to patients, visitors and employees. Make recommendations to program director based on learnings. Participate in and lead the development of policies and procedures to identify and reduce risks to patients, families and employees. Lead and coordinate outbreak investigations and bio response preparation and execution. Oversee collaboration with Employee Health and Occupational Safety and Environmental Health to provide post exposure testing, treatment and prophylaxis. Lead the program in one of the following key areas. * Compliance - Establish and maintain working relationships with stakeholders throughout CCHMC to carry out Infection Prevention and Control program activities. Respond to Program Coordinator requests and deadlines in a timely manner. Supervise provision of accurate, concise information in response to stakeholder inquiries. Represent the program as a leader and active member of committees and group rounds to identify risks, facilitate policy adherence, and insure compliance with regulatory standards at the hospital base and satellite facilities. May represent the Program Director in his/her absence. * Research - Under the direction of the Program Director, lead or participate in research activities related to infection prevention and control. Collaborate in publication and presentation of program data in peer-reviewed journals and at local and national conferences. May identify mentor(s) and project for advanced degree training or certification (e.g., master's degree). May participate in or lead project development and funding proposal submission. * Data Management - Oversee data entry into and maintain local and external electronic databases (NHSN, ODRS, Vigilanz, Epic). Conduct and oversee regular, routine data analysis and visual report displays to provide meaningful data to program members and stakeholders. Review timeliness, accuracy, availability and security of information. May instruct and oversee others data management efforts. * Process Improvement - Participate, lead, and support performance improvement efforts related to infection prevention and control. JOB QUALIFICATIONS * Masters degree in related field. May require clinical license, certification or training * 5+ years of work experience in a related job disciplineApply here:
