Key Responsibilities:
As an Infection Preventionist, you'll be at the forefront of our infection prevention and control program, ensuring regulatory compliance while driving safety initiatives. Your expertise will guide hospital-wide infection prevention strategies, identify early outbreaks, and reduce risks. From educating staff and developing policies to collaborating with IT on data integrity, your role will be crucial in maintaining a safe and healthy environment.
You will:
💡 Lead infection prevention projects and safety initiatives
📊 Analyze infection trends and data to drive improvements
🧠 Provide consultative services and serve as a subject matter expert
🎓 Design and deliver education programs on infection control
🤝 Collaborate across departments to implement best practices
📝 Contribute to research and evidence-based practices in infection control
Qualifications:
✔️ CIC Certification (CBIC) required
✔️ Master's in Epidemiology, Microbiology, or related field
✔️ Minimum 4 years of clinical experience in infection prevention and control
✔️ Expertise in data analysis, laboratory diagnostics, and epidemiological principles
✔️ Strong organizational and decision-making skills
Shift:
🕘 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday
