The Division of Infectious Diseases & HIV Medicine at University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center (UHCMC), Cleveland, OH, a major teaching affiliate of Case Western Reserve University, is seeking a physician dedicated to combating antimicrobial resistance and improving patient outcomes to join our Antimicrobial Stewardship Program in Cleveland, Ohio. UHCMC is an IDSA Antimicrobial Stewardship Center of Excellence and is the referral center for the 14-hospital integrated University Hospitals healthcare network in Northeast Ohio. Our ASP pursues innovative approaches to improve antimicrobial utilization and ensure the highest standards of patient care at UHCMC and its affiliated hospitals. Robust pharmacy support includes two full-time pharmacists trained in infectious diseases, and an ID pharmacy residency program. The successful candidate will be embedded in UHCMC's Div. of Infectious Diseases, will be eligible for a faculty position in Case Western Reserve University's School of Medicine and be a trainer in our infectious diseases fellowship training program.
