Montefiore IT is actively recruiting talented professionals for our Infor ERP Finance and Supply Chain Management technology team. Following our recent implementation of Infor FSM, we are building a dedicated team to provide comprehensive support throughout the lifecycle of this essential module. The Software Engineer working as an Interfaces Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining interfaces and integrations within the Infor FSM (Finance & Supply Chain Management) ERP ecosystem, with a strong focus on integration with EPIC clinical application and other banking institutions via middleware or direct. The developer will closely work with Finance/ SCM business analysts to identify interface requirements and translate them into technical solutions that support business needs. This role requires excellent analytical skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop effective integration solutions thereby ensuring seamless data flow and interoperability between different systems, contributing to the efficiency and effectiveness of our organization's organization. Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain interfaces and integrations within the Infor FSM ERP application ecosystem, focusing on seamless integration with EPIC clinical applications and banking institutions' systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, system architects, and other software engineers, to gather requirements and design efficient and scalable integration solutions.
- Implement integration solutions using industry-standard technologies and protocols, such as RESTful APIs, SOAP, XML, JSON, HL7, and FHIR, ensuring compatibility and compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
- Experience with middleware platforms, such as iWay, Ensemble, MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, or equivalent, to facilitate data exchange and transformation between different systems.
- Develop custom interfaces and adapters as needed to bridge the gap between disparate systems, leveraging programming languages such as Java, Python, or .NET.
- Perform thorough testing and quality assurance activities of integration solutions to ensure functionality, performance, and reliability, identifying and resolving any issues or inconsistencies.
- Collaborate with third-party vendors and external stakeholders to facilitate the integration of third-party applications and services with the Infor FSM ERP ecosystem.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance for integration-related issues, working closely with internal teams and external partners to resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Document integration processes, configurations, and best practices, ensuring knowledge transfer and enabling effective support and maintenance of integration solutions.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies, trends, and best practices in integration and interoperability, incorporating new tools and techniques to continuously improve integration capabilities.
Required: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, related field or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience (3+ years) as a software engineer, with a focus on interface/integration development within complex enterprise application ecosystems (preferably Infor ERP).
- Must have experience with at least one full software development lifecycle (SDLC) ERP implementation, ideally, with the INFOR ERP Solution.
- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or .NET, with experience in developing custom interfaces and adapters.
- In-depth understanding of integration patterns, protocols, and standards, including RESTful APIs, SOAP, XML, JSON, HL7, and FHIR.
- Experience with Infor FSM ERP applications, Infor Process Automation (IPA), Infor Intelligent Open Network (ION) API, Web Services, EPIC clinical application, and integration with banking institutions' systems is highly desirable.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to analyze complex integration challenges and develop effective solutions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
- Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, delivering high-quality results within tight deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Desired: - Additional certifications related to ERP systems, such as Infor certifications
- Experience with Agile development methodologies
- Familiarity with healthcare industry standards and regulations, such as HIPAA, HITECH, and HL7, is a plus.
