About the job Information Assurance/Security Specialist JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support the Risk Management Framework (RMF) certification and accreditation of all IMCOM IT systems
- Maintains operational security posture to ensure information systems (IS), security policies, standards, and procedures are established and followed in close collaboration with the ISSM
- Create and Maintain A&A/RMF documentation required by DOD RMF, Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs), and Security Recommendation Guides (SRGs): Security Plan, Plan of Action & Milestones (POA&M), Software/Hardware Inventory, Network diagrams, INFOSEC Policies and Procedures, Risk Assessment Report, Security Assessment Plan and Report; Contingency Plan and Incident Response Plan
- Coordinate with System Engineering team to document and address Security Controls, assist in remediation, and ensure that POA&Ms are being appropriately managed
- Conduct periodic reviews of information systems to ensure they are current and in compliance with the security authorization package
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- BA or BS in IT or related field or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of relevant experience in IT or related Enterprise Architecture, Information Management, or Security field
- Interim Secret Clearance or Secret Security Clearance
