Position Summary Monitor the organization's networks for security threats or breaches and investigate when one occurs. Use and maintain policies, procedures, and systems to protect sensitive information. Check for vulnerabilities in computer and network systems. Document and report issues. Installing & maintaining systems that protect from online vulnerabilities. This role is responsible for the analysis, integration, testing, operations, and maintenance of security systems. This position investigates incidents and responds to events in real time. What You'll Do: 1.Keep informed of the constantly changing vulnerabilities and how to effectively remediate them, as well as keeping up to date with the latest security requirements of the business. 2.Protect Systems and IT Infrastructure 3.Upgrade systems to ensure security software is up to date. 4.Install and upgrade antivirus software. 5.Monitoring IT Systems and report Issues 6.Gather feedback from end-users & report findings. 7.Examine information to help identify risks and threats. 8.Assist with implementing strategies to stop threats from damage or theft of Mitutoyo's networks, data, and workflows. 9.Write detailed incident response reports. 10.Remediate vulnerabilities found on endpoint devices. 11.Promote best practices for information security. 12.Conduct threat research. Supervisory Responsibilities:There are no supervisory responsibilities in this position.Work Environment:Office Environment and Hybrid. Physical Demands: The person in this position occasionally needs to move about inside the office to access filing cabinets, office machinery, etc. This position requires bending and squatting to install, repair and check computer connections. Position Type and Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time position. Monday - Friday 8:30AM - 5:00PM. Occasionally hours outside of these normal working hours are required. This position is eligible to work remotely up to two days a week. Travel: Minimal Travel Required. Occasional Trips to remote offices possible. Required Education and Experience:Required: Associate degree or 2-3 years' equivalent work experience.
