We also have comprehensive leadership and technical development academies to help build your skills and capabilities.SummaryAs an​Information Security Architecture and Engineering Lead at Gainwell, you will be a part of an innovative healthcare technology company with a mission to serve the healthcare needs of our communities.Gainwell is seeking an experienced Information Security Architecture and Engineering Lead who can provide technical leadership and be accountable for all security-related compliance and delivery for the customers assigned.Your role in our missionIdentifies security risks, threats and vulnerabilities of networks, systems, applications, and new technology initiatives. Develops, tests, and operates firewalls, intrusion detection systems, enterprise anti-virus and XDR systems and software deployment tools. Complex engineering analysis; Reacts to and initiates corrective action regarding security violations.Defines and enforces the information security configuration; Develops technical and programmatic assessments, evaluates engineering and integration initiatives, and provides technical support to assess security policies, standards, and guidelines. Develops, implements, enforces, and communicates security policies and/or plans for data, software applications, hardware, and telecommunications.Performs complex product evaluations, recommends, and implements products/services for network security. Validates and tests complex security architecture and design solutions to produce detailed engineering specifications with recommended vendor technologies.Reviews, recommends, and oversees the installation, modification or replacement of hardware or software components and any configuration change(s) that affects security.Provides complex technical oversight and enforcement of security directives, orders, standards, plans and procedures at server sites. Ensures system support personnel receive/maintain security awareness and training.Provides leadership and work guidance; ability to lead a team of Engineers.What we're looking forNine or more years of experience in network, host, data, cloud and/or application security in multiple operating system environmentsExperience working with IP networking, networking protocols and understanding of security related technologies including encryption, IPsec, PKI, VPNs, firewalls, proxy services, DNS, electronic mail and access-listsExperience working with internet, web, application and network security techniquesExperience working with relevant operating system security (Windows, Solaris, Linux, etc.)Experience working with leading firewall, network scanning and intrusion detection products and authentication technologiesExperience defining, assessing and deploying Azure, AWS and other cloud security controlsExperience with desktop management and security controls such as Defender, Intune, Experience with remote access methods and security, including traditional VPN and Zero Trust architecturesPurview and conditional access policies within Entra ID, Azure and Microsoft 365Experience working with federal regulations related to information security (FISMA, Computer security Act, etc.)Experience working with NIST Special Publications and C & A process methodologyPossess relevant vendor and industry security and technical certifications (CISSP, CCNA, etc) What you should expect in this roleFully Remote Opportunity with the option to work anywhere within the United StatesOpportunities to travel through your work (0-10%)Video cameras must be used during all interviews, as well as during the initial week of orientationThe deadline to submit applications for this posting is September 10, 2024.The pay range for this position is $95,100.00 - $135,800.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
