Role: Information Security Operations Manager Location: NYC or Dallas. Onsite Compensation: ~200-230k base + bonus A leading shared services and private equity firm is looking for an Information Security Operations Manager to report to the CISO and to lead a team of security operations analysts and engineers while being responsible for building/maintaining security programs. Responsibilities:
- Execute/maintain security monitoring/response, event handling, and other related programs
- Oversee Security Operations team while also working with external SOC provider
- Manage security events including monitoring/validation and response
- Lead threat hunting efforts and program
- Oversee incident response framework and overall maturity of security operations procedures
- Vulnerability management/remediation
- Metrics reporting and presentation for key security operations metrics
- Management of direct reports including coaching and performance management
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in CS, Infosec or related
- 8+ years' experience in security operations with experience building and managing a Security Operations Center
- Experience with Microsoft 0365 and azure; multi cloud environment experience preferred
- Information security certifications such as CISSP or related
- Understanding of key security frameworks such as ISO270001, CIS, etc.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to lead a team
