Description:TRISTAR is seeking a Information Security Specialist III (RMF) for our government customer in Bloomington, INWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled RMF Information System Security Specialist to join our teamIn this role, you will work closely with a team of professionals to ensure the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of information systemsWill be a critical contributor to maintaining robust cybersecurity strategies, ensuring compliance with DoD standards, and fostering collaboration across teams and stakeholderPosition ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with system engineers, network operators, and stakeholders to identify, remediate, track, and report system vulnerabilitiesEnsure system updates are tested for security impact, and maintain accurate engineering documentation such as HW/SW lists and network diagramsPerform technical assessments of systems and devices within the authorization boundary using DISA STIGs, SRGs, SCAP, and ACAS toolsMaintain situational awareness of systems through continuous monitoring strategies, leveraging ISSM guidance and AO standardsDevelop, review, and update System Security Plans (SSP) and related documentation during authorizations, audits, and system development lifecycle eventsCreate and maintain system level documents; including Disaster Recovery Plans (DRP), Incident Response Plans (IRP), Configuration Management Plans (CMP), and ISCM strategies, ensuring alignment with USMC Enterprise Cybersecurity Manual (ECSM) requirementsSupport integration of advanced technologies, such as ML/AI and cloud infrastructure, within cybersecurity frameworks to enhance system performance and securityAvailable to travel up less than 10% annuallyRequirements:Proficiency with Risk Management Framework (RMF)Experience conducting security assessments, audits, and vulnerability managementFamiliarity with tools such as ACAS, eMASS, STIG checklists, SCAP scans, ATO processesStrong analytical and problem solving skillsKnowledge of security standards and regulations (e.g., NIST, FISMA, HIPAA)Prior experience working within a Navy or USMC cyber environmentOccasional travel may be requiredStrong interpersonal and collaborative skillsMust be a US CitizenMust have active Secret Clearance or the ability to obtain oneEducation and CertificationBachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related fieldPreferred Qualifications include relevance certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or equivalentTRISTAR is an Equal Opportunity Employer with a commitment to diversity.
