Position Summary What Will You Do? As an Experienced Information Technology (IT) Auditor, you will be assigned to a variety of diverse and challenging audit assignments in regards to the State's data centers. Our IT Auditors complete reviews of computer applications and test IT general controls for financial and federal compliance audits at state agencies. While working under the guidance of experienced audit managers, you will have the opportunity to work within a collaborative team setting while also developing your skills as an effective information technology auditor through training, coaching, and mentoring.
Salary Information Salary is commensurate with candidate qualifications, certifications, and experience.
Qualifications Who Are You? As a qualified candidate:
- You are able to maintain strict nonpartisanship.
- You have a Bachelor's degree or higher-preferably in accounting, information systems management, computer science, finance, or related field-and have strong academic performance.
- You have 2-4 years of experience working in a professional environment in an IT field.
In addition, as a well-qualified candidate:
- You are able to effectively communicate both orally and in writing.
- You are highly motivated, take initiative, and excel in meeting challenges.
- You possess strong attention to detail.
- You are able to effectively balance multiple tasks.
- You are able to develop positive working relationships with teammates and other colleagues.
- You are able to self-reflect and respond to feedback in a positive and constructive manner.
- You have an understanding of IT standards, such as CoBIT, COSO, NIST, and other resources to evaluate IT operations.
- You either possess or you are interested in pursuing the Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) designation.
