Our client located in Phoenix is looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Helpdesk and IT Support Technician. The ideal candidate will have 1-2+ years of experience working in a help desk environment, and proficiency working with Windows OS, Apple OS, Apple iOS and Android OS devices. The right candidate will be a highly detail oriented and analytical individual who will accurately capture customer interactions and close out submitted IT trouble tickets in a timely manner. This role will be on-site, with one day working remotely per week, after completed training.
Responsibilities for Help Desk Technician
- Manage and resolve IT Help Desk tickets in a timely manner
- Provide technical assistance with routine needs such as general computer use, password resets, printing, use of Microsoft O365 Apps, file backups,etc.
- Experience working with and troubleshooting Windows OS, Apple OS, Apple iOS and Android OS devices.
- Remotely troubleshoot hardware or software for internal customers
- Escalate issues as needed to appropriate department
- Install, make changes and repair computer hardware and software as needed
- update/add/close users accounts into Office 365 Administration Portal and Active directory.
- Follow-up with customers to ensure issues are resolved
Desired Qualifications for Help Desk Technician
- 1-2+ years of experience working in an IT help desk or service desk environment
- Basic knowledge of TCP/IP, DHCP, and DNS configuration. As well as LAN and WAN concepts.
- CompTia Tech+ Certification preferred
- Detail oriented in order to keep detailed notes on tickets
- Ability to diagnose and resolve basic computer technical issues
