This position will focus on directly managing a team of architects, functional analysts and developers and leading the delivery of key initiatives within the Direct Procurement product family. An ideal candidate will be excited for the challenge to transform and think critically on many Information Technology capabilities and projects.As a leader, you are encouraged to be a combination of a technical leader and an effective people manager. You will manage and grow a talented team tasked with solving complex problems within a high-growth environment. You will develop and drive strategy to hire, develop and mobilize talent for the organization. You will set clear objectives and goals for the team and enable the team to deliver and use operating mechanisms to continually assess progress and improve. You should be effective in interaction with senior technical and functional leaders to lead change through business processes and technologies.Position Responsibilities:Manages a small team or “pod” within a larger product to iteratively deliver features on the product roadmap, working with Technical Leads and Product Managers to integrate features into a broader product at the end of every sprintServes as the accountable “face” of the pod, taking responsibility for pod progress and outcomes vs. broader product expectations; accountable for team's adherence to standards and guidelinesMonitors and reports on pod progress and performance, and stays updated on broader product developments to pivot pod activities accordinglyIdentifies and addresses any issues or blockers within the pod, requesting additional resources and information where necessaryCoordinates with other Pod Leads, the Product Manager, and the Tech LeadAcquires resources for pod, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvementsHelps establish product objectives and key results and provides input to budget planning activities Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reportsManages and provides developmental opportunities for employeesThis position is hybrid. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):5+ years of experience working in a cross functional environment with all levels in the business from individual contributors to executive leadership3+ years of experience leading teams and/or leading initiatives3+ years of experience in coordinating projects across multiple businesses and globally distributed teams3+ years of experience facilitating agile teams as a Scrum Master or equivalent role3+ years of experience in full software development life-cycle2+ years of experience working with Agile, DevOps and Waterfall software development/deployment methodologiesExperience with SAP S/4 HANA project deliveryPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):Certified Scrum Master or project managerExperience facilitating Agile ceremonies, managing a backlog/release plan, tracking team-level metrics, removing blockers (burndown diagram, burn-up release, etc.)Experience in aerospace domainExperience with Supply Chain IT leadershipExperience delivering and executing SAP projectsExperience of using collaboration tools like JIRA, ADOExperience recruiting, training and leading each team member to reach their potentialExperience with a cross team collaboration and navigating organizational changes to achieve outcomesRelocation:Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position.
