Job Description:

Responsible for management and oversight of information technology infrastructure and architecture. Blend of information technology experience and overall business acumen that ensures alignment between infrastructure, systems, and key performance metrics that drive company success. Manages multiple disciplines and functions, with a high level of financial, technical, and strategic responsibility. Supports strategic goals and direction through the development of information support systems. Achieves financial objectives including operating within approved budgets, monitoring costs, and recommending and implementing cost-saving measures. Supervises IT Team by assigning and prioritizing work, providing instruction, direction, and support, and reviewing work performance. Assists with the purchasing, installation, upgrade, maintenance, and troubleshooting of information and communication infrastructure. Works with IT Team to ensure reliable, secure, and resilient IT systems including advocating for updates. Develops and documents user-friendly policies, procedures, and protocols and facilitates instruction.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology
  • 7+ years of relevant IT experience
  • 2+ years of leadership and management experience

Job Requirements:

  • Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning Systems (ERP), Sage X3 experience strongly preferred
  • Project Management experience or training in PM methodology (Agile/Scrum)
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization
  • Results-oriented with proven ability to lead a technology team
  • Working knowledge of LAN/WAN, AD, VOIP, and SQL technologies
  • Strong technical problem-solving/diagnostic skills
  • Knowledge of website technology and website administration
  • EDI Experience a plus

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Excellent working knowledge of Windows Server, Server VMs, network and firewall administration, and VoIP phone systems.
  • Database, Network, and Windows certification preferred.
  • Familiarity with information analysis tools and systems to gather information reporting across multiple programs and departments.
  • Understanding of the basics of network administration.
  • Responsible for all aspects of Information Technology including all software development, software applications, computer hardware, cyber-security, databases, and connectivity of various company locations.
  • Build a strong team to develop software and hardware solutions and motivate project teams, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment that operates within approved budgets and selects subcontractors based on their qualifications and performance.
  • Communicates effectively with stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, milestones, and addressing any concerns.
  • Resolves conflicts and challenges that may arise during the installation, startup, and commissioning processes, implementing solutions to keep the project on track.
  • Evaluates and selects subcontractors based on their qualifications and performance.
  • Ability to analyze data and resolve an array of hardware, software, and application challenges.
  • Ability to effectively interpret and articulate technical information to non-technical users.
  • Ability to effectively communicate orally, in writing, 1-on-1, and in groups.
  • Possesses organizational skills, with the ability to multi-task and prioritize workflow.
  • Bridges the technical gap between system users and automated software solutions to increase productivity and reduce costs.
  • Prepares financial budgets and presents proposals for capital projects to senior executives.
  • Designs, develops, and implements systems, policies, and procedures with an emphasis on security compliance.
  • Develops and implements business continuity protocols to minimize disruption to business operations in the event of emergency or data loss.
  • Develops and manages project schedules, ensuring deployment of services aligns with delivery schedules. Ensures projects are in line with internal and external expectations.
  • Collaborates with internal engineers and third parties to ensure project expectations and scope are met and design intent is maintained as well as execution of projects with third party Service Delivery Partners from installation to commissioning.
