Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled IT Manager with a strong background in System Administration and ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) practices. The IT Manager will oversee the IT department, ensuring the efficient operation of all IT systems, and implementing ITIL best practices to enhance service management and delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
1. System Administration:
· Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of servers, networks, and other IT infrastructure.
· Ensure the availability, performance, and security of all IT systems.
· Manage system backups, disaster recovery plans, and data integrity measures.
· Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime.
2. ITIL Implementation:
· Implement and manage ITIL processes, including Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, and Service Level Management.
· Develop and maintain ITIL-based service catalogs and service level agreements (SLAs).
· Conduct regular ITIL training sessions for IT staff to ensure adherence to best practices.
3. Team Leadership:
· Lead and mentor a team of IT professionals, providing guidance and support for their professional development.
· Conduct performance evaluations and manage team workload to ensure efficient operation.
· Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment.
4. Project Management:
· Plan and execute IT projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
· Coordinate with other departments to understand their IT needs and provide appropriate solutions.
· Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for IT services and products.
5. Security and Compliance:
· Implement and enforce IT security policies and procedures to protect company data.
· Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
· Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments.
6. Budget Management:
· Manage the IT budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.
· Monitor and report on IT expenditures and identify opportunities for cost savings.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
· 10 year experience in IT Management or similar role, with a focus on System Administration and ITIL.
· Strong knowledge of ITIL frameworks and best practices.
· Experience with server and network administration, including Windows and Linux environments.
· Excellent leadership and team management skills.
· Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL Foundation, CompTIA Network+, Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator) are a plus.
