This role will focus on developing, implementing, and maintaining IT systems and strategies that align with Novatech's growth objectives and ensure optimal performance, security, and innovation.Qualifications
- 5+ years of proven experience managing IT operations or leading similar IT-focused teams.
- 8+ years of direct, hands-on experience in a specialized technical IT area (e.g., networking, system administration, cloud infrastructure).
- 10+ years of overall experience working in IT, demonstrating a well-rounded understanding of IT department functions.
- Certifications in networking and routing topologies are highly desired (e.g., Fortinet, SonicWall, Cisco, Net+, Wireless, VLANs).
- Proficient with technologies such as VMware, Microsoft RDS, Microsoft Server Operating Systems, SAN, and Azure.
- Experience with e-automate (ERP), Salesforce (CRM), and Microsoft products is beneficial in this role.
- Strong professional communication skills, including exceptional oral and written abilities.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot server, storage, routing, networking, and connectivity issues in live production environments.
- Analyze and resolve problems/incidents, documenting the resolution process.
- Investigate root causes of incidents and provide actionable recommendations.
- Define and implement action plans based on findings.
- Mentor team members by sharing best practices and lessons learned.
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; or equivalent work experience in a related field may substitute for the degree.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to work for prolonged periods at a desk and on a computer.
- Capability to lift up to 15 pounds as needed.
