Program Manager

Location: 100% Remote (Must be located in Texas)

Duration: 6-Month Contract to Hire

Responsibilities:

As a Program Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and driving the successful execution of complex IT projects within the financial technology industry. You will work closely with project teams, stakeholders, and leadership to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee multiple project managers and teams, providing guidance, support, and coordination.
  • Present project status and updates to executive stakeholders in SteerCO meetings.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using MS Project.
  • Manage project budgets, including financial forecasting and tracking.
  • Experience working in both Agile and Waterfall methodologies, with a preference for those who have driven Agile transformations.
  • Collaborate with external stakeholders and third-party vendors to ensure project success.
  • Prepare and deliver professional presentations to internal, external, and C-Level stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in project management, with a minimum of 5 years dedicated to IT projects in the financial technology sector.
  • 3+ years of experience as a Program Manager overseeing multiple project managers.
  • Proven experience managing projects with a minimum budget of $4 million, involving external stakeholders and third-party vendors.
  • Strong financial project management skills, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively interact with various levels of stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in MS Project or similar project management tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in establishing and managing fraud prevention programs.
  • Possession of PMI certifications (e.g., PMP, PgMP).
