Title: IT Project Coordinator / Jr. Project Manager

Compensation: Salary up to $75k/yr. plus benefits, commensurate with experience

Location: 100% onsite in midtown Manhattan

Position Description

RCM is seeking an IT Project Coordinator for our commercial real estate client.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the project manager to liaise between IT and project requestors.
• Perform all project coordination, collaboration, and communication tasks.
• Work with all IT project leads on a weekly basis to capture accurate project status.
• Support the project manager to document accurate and up-to-date project portfolio status.
• Support the project manager with accurate project and operational budgets.
• Carry out all project and operational procurement tasks as needed by the IT department.
• Create detailed work plans identifying and sequencing activities for successfully completing projects.
• Handle weekly as well as ad hoc reporting requests efficiently and effectively.
• Consolidate research findings from numerous sources into presentation-quality summaries.
• Summarize technical projects in visually compelling, brief and intuitive overviews.
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Must demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Comfortable communicating at an executive level.
• Ability to juggle multiple projects/tasks with competing interests for time.
• Team-building attitude.
• Quick learner. Ability to grasp complex topics and present information in a simple digestible way for business consumption.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (notably Excel and PowerPoint).

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years project management experience, preferably in IT projects.
• Experience developing presentations for various audience levels within an organization.
• Working knowledge Adobe Creative Cloud suite (notably InDesign) a plus.
• Bilingual English/French is a plus.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) or Associate's degree from four-year college or university.
• 0-3 years of experience in project management, preferably in IT.

Travel Requirements

• Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time.
