Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager with expertise in overseeing business application implementations, managing the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), and ensuring that project teams are well-supported and aligned to deliver successful projects. This individual will be responsible for managing project budgets, timelines, and plans while focusing on the needs of the team to ensure project success. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Management and Execution:
- Lead and manage business application implementations and SDLC projects from initiation through to successful delivery.
- Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and budgets.
- Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget by tracking progress and addressing issues as they arise.
- Manage project schedules and deliverables, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Budget and Resource Management:
- Create and manage project budgets, ensuring optimal resource utilization and cost efficiency.
- Track and report on project financials, ensuring projects stay within budget constraints and identifying any potential risks to the budget.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, third-party vendors, and other stakeholders to secure necessary resources for successful project delivery.
Team Collaboration and Support:
- Provide leadership and support to project teams, ensuring they have the resources and guidance needed to complete tasks successfully.
- Foster a collaborative team environment, ensuring clear communication and alignment on project goals.
- Address and resolve any obstacles or challenges the project team faces, ensuring they can focus on delivering project outcomes.
SDLC Management:
- Oversee the full SDLC for business application projects, ensuring adherence to best practices in requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and post-launch support.
- Coordinate and work with development teams to ensure quality standards are met throughout the project lifecycle.
- Conduct regular project reviews to ensure alignment with technical requirements and business objectives.
Stakeholder Management and Reporting:
- Maintain regular communication with key stakeholders, providing project updates, status reports, and managing expectations.
- Ensure that project outcomes align with business needs and that any adjustments or changes are clearly communicated to all relevant parties.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of experience managing IT projects, with a focus on business application implementations, SDLC processes, and project delivery.
- Proven experience managing project budgets, schedules, and resources effectively.
- Strong understanding of SDLC methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, Asana).
- PMP, Scrum Master, or other project management certifications preferred.
