OverviewGovCIO is currently hiring Senior Information Technology Security Officer (ISSO) to support cybersecurity compliance and assessment for the CODIS application development / modernization. This position requires an active Top Secret clearance and will be onsite 4 days a week near Quantico, VA (1 day remote).ResponsibilitiesProvides services and technical advice in achieving the approval for the CODIS program and its Authority-to-Operate (ATO). Act as liaison between CODIS team and other FBI security organizations. Be single POC for all security matters related to CODIS. Communicate security notices to development team and track their resolution.QualificationsHigh School with 6 - 9 years (or commensurate experience)Required Skills and ExperienceMinimum of three (3) years of demonstrated experience in the Information Security (Cybersecurity or Information Assurance) field including:Knowledge of developing, maintaining, and managing Security Authorizations and Assessments packagesExperience with developing and managing Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&Ms)Displays technical experience with conducting research and providing review recommendations on software and technologies for vulnerabilities.Technical experience with reviewing vulnerability scans and providing mitigation techniques.Experience in conducting annual assessments.Possess experience developing and testing Contingency Plans.Experience with conducting audit log reviews.Minimum of three (3) years of working experience in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), MS Project, and SharePoint (User)Clearance Required: Top SecretCertificationMinimum of at least one (1) certification must be active relating to information security, such as: Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), GIAC security certification (e.g., GCIH, GWAPT, GPEN, GSLC, etc.), or CompTIA Security +.Company OverviewGovCIO is a team of transformers--people who are passionate about transforming government IT.
