Systems Support Manager
Position Type: Full Time, Permanent
Location: Dallas, Whippany, Orlando, Las Vegas, Phoenix, United States
This is an on-site only role, with light travel – passport required.
You Will Get To:
Lead end-user services and technical infrastructure and operations including servers, back-office apps, storage, backup and data centers. As the leader you will manage overall team performance, provide constructive feedback (coaching/mentoring), conduct performance reviews, and hire as appropriate. You will be expected to make business presentations to leadership.
- Lead a team providing Tier II deskside support. Constantly evaluate emerging user needs and proactively address them in future lifecycle plans that will cover hardware, software, vendor selection, installation, integration, set-up, and testing.
- Lead a team deploying, installing, and upgrading desktops, servers, storage/backup devices and network/telecom systems
- Maintain required reliability and availability of all systems under your leadership
- Contribute to the overall IT strategy to meet business needs.
The Well-Qualified Candidate Will Have:
- Bachelor's Degree.
- 5+ years supporting a 24x7, multi-site operations support environment, including 3+ years of true leadership in the same
- Experience with Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) infrastructure, along with a strong understanding of networking technologies (such as routers, firewalls, etc), WAN/LAN implementation, storage and backup tech. Proficiency in MS Back Office products (including Systems Centre suite, Windows OS, AD, etc), system lifecycle management, and infrastructure planning and operations.
- Skilled at collaborating with different teams within an organization, bringing groups together to work towards a unified goal.
- Excellent English, both written and verbal
- Successful experience managing a budget and expenses
- Experience reviewing contracts
