Overview
Responsible for general technical support for students, faculty and staff of the Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine/ Imaging School (1000+ users).
Responsibilities
Responsible for general technical support, to include, but not limited to as much of the following as possible:
* Administers all smart-podiums, troubleshooting all Audio-Visual issues in lecture halls, labs and classrooms.
* Respond to service tickets.
* Performs installation, configuration, deployment and troubleshooting of desktop/laptop computers and peripherals
* Administers Print Server and printing management software
* Administers E-Mail listserv for faculty, staff and student body
* Troubleshoots network (wired and wireless) related issues.
* Technical support for Medical Simulation Machines.
* Assists students and instructors with Canvas and clicker issues.
* Assist students with Exam issues Troubleshoot Zoom issues. Other duties as required
Qualifications
Education/ Experience
* Bachelor of Science preferred.
* At least 3 years of IT experience.
Knowledge/ Skills/ Abilities
* Demonstrated proficiency in communication (written and verbal) required
* Customer service and team orientated required
* A high degree of interpersonal competency: professionalism, diplomacy, judgement and discretion required
* Demonstrated ability to develop positive and cooperative relationships with students, faculty, and colleagues required
* Networking, DNS, DHCP, LDAP, TCP/IP
* Knowledge of Windows Workstations/Servers, Linux Servers (preferred) and Mac OSX.
* Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, & Outlook
* Basic understanding of Audio-Visual equipment.
* Internet research

Maximum Salary
USD $50,715.00/Yr.
Minimum Salary
USD $40,572.00/Yr.
