Position: IT Technician
Location: Aurora, CO – 100% onsite at client's facility with occasional visits to other local facilities; mileage will be reimbursed for additional travel.
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00am – 4:00pm Mountain Time Zone
Contract Length:12 months
Contract Rate: $30.00/hour (W2)
Overview: Seeking a contract employee with a solid understanding of computer hardware, software troubleshooting, and general technical support skills. Experience working with wireless and radio devices would be beneficial but not required.
Duties Include, but are Not Limited to:
* Assist installers with equipment installations and troubleshooting.
* Contact vendors and complete work in compliance with vendor specifications & standards.
* Perform necessary system and/or equipment repairs where feasible or make arrangements for the necessary repairs.
* Perform site equipment installation, test, removal, and disposal.
* Perform hardware, firmware, and software maintenance on radios and associated infrastructure.
* Track, manage, and resolve work tickets utilizing an established ticketing system.
* Perform data collection, entry, and reporting using computer applications programs.
* Ability to work in office and field environments and under pressure.
Qualified Candidates have:
* Possession of a valid Driver's License
* 3+ years of experience in the installation and/or maintenance in at least one of the following: network management, server options, routing protocols, microwave, fiber-optic, and/or electronic communications systems.
Successful Candidates:
* Show initiative and act independently to resolve tickets, manage multiple priorities, and follow through on projects/tasks to completion; work independently using all available resources to resolve tickets and ensure service delivery.
* Communicate progress, status, and issues, clearly and concisely, verbally and in writing, with customers, management, and technical support.
