Job Description ASRC Federal Agile Decision Sciences (ADS) is seeking a highly qualified IT Systems Administrator II with an active Top Secret clearance to work on our project at Robins Air Force Base, GA. The selected candidate will be able to communicate effectively (written/verbal), possess strong interpersonal skills, be self-motivated, and be innovative in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: The IT/SA II will provide information technology support which includes system administration, network administration, application administration, database administration, and computer security support for a broad range of UNIX, Solaris, and PC based computer systems, and weapon system software/hardware. Specific tasks include Solaris clustering, Solaris security, Containers/Zones, and shell scripting. Schedule
  • Facilities are open 6am-6pm - you can work with your customer leadership to set hours
  • You can flex time during the 2 week pay cycle - avoid using PTO for appointments
  • A compressed work schedule may be available at the discretion of work center leadership (i.e. 4/10 or 9/80)

  • Candidate MUST HAVE a Top Secret security clearance.
  • Experience required depends on candidate's education level
    • No Degree requires 6 years' experienceproviding network environment or advance level computing environment support
    • AS requires 3 years' experienceproviding network environment or advance level computing environment support
    • BS or higher requires 2 years' experienceproviding network environment or advance level computing environment support
  • Experience must include at least one of the following:
    • Windows Server
    • Shell scripting
    • Linux (RedHat)
    • VMware
    • Storage/Cloud technologies
    • Cisco IOS
    • DNS/LDAP/HPOV
    • Active Directory
    • Experience in UNIX or Solaris environments
    • Experience as WebLogic Admin
    • Experience with software package installation, patching upgrading
    • Application troubleshooting and testing
    • Oracle DBA experience in the UNIX operating system
    • Experience in high availability environment
    • Experience in software development environment
  • Required to have one of the following DOD approved 8570 certifications:
    • CCNA Security
    • CySA+
    • GICSP
    • GSEC
    • Security+ CE
    • CND
    • SSCP
    • CAP
    • CND
    • Cloud+
    • GSLC
    • HCISPP
Preferred
  • Able to work in a fast-paced production environment with ability to handle multiplecompeting tasks and demands simultaneously.
  • Effective Customer Service and management skills/capabilities; including a demonstratedability to work cross-functionally internally and externally.
  • Strong English language skills (both written and verbal).
  • High level of drive and ability to learn.
  • Ability to lead a team and carry development workload.
