Infrastructure Administrator 6-Month Contract-to-Hire Hybrid Onsite, Beverly Hills, CA Up to $120k Salary / $58 Hourly

Job Overview We are looking for a skilled Infrastructure Administrator to manage and maintain all IT infrastructure operations. This role involves overseeing servers, storage, systems, and network equipment while ensuring optimal performance and security. The ideal candidate will continuously assess and enhance the infrastructure. Availability for after-hours work and participation in 24/7 on-call support is required. The position reports to the Vice President of Infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Adhere to IT infrastructure policies and lifecycle management, providing support for servers (both virtual and physical), network equipment, and IT systems. Perform patch management as necessary across the infrastructure.
  • Monitor the performance of infrastructure components, systems, storage, and network. Establish baselines and collect historical data for analysis, offering recommendations for optimization to IT leadership and business units.
  • Collaborate with other departments to deploy new IT infrastructure services, ensuring adherence to established standards and policies.
  • Manage Active Directory, updating as required by other business units. Assist in the Onboarding/Offboarding process with HR, Security, Operations, and Facilities.
  • Ensure the security and integrity of digital information stored in infrastructure-supported systems.
  • Provide purchasing recommendations for hardware and software solutions.
  • Work with IT leadership and business units to maintain and enhance disaster recovery and business continuity plans. Suggest improvements as necessary.
  • Troubleshoot infrastructure issues, identify solutions, and engage vendors when needed. Act as the liaison between business units and external experts.
  • Provide Tier 3 support as needed. Identify training opportunities and assist in training users and technicians.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience as an Infrastructure Administrator in an enterprise environment, or 8 years progressively building expertise leading up to this role.
  • Proficiency with corporate Wintel environments, including virtualization, storage, network, and related solutions to support IT infrastructure.
  • Strong knowledge of enterprise networks, including protocols, VLANs, access control, security, and routing.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively communicate with IT teams, business stakeholders, and non-technical personnel.
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced IT environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and sound judgment.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills with a proven ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff, leadership, and external partners.
  • Capable of working independently while being an effective team member.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 45 pounds.
  • Willingness to work extended hours and occasional nights.
