Job Description:

For great projects on our Obourg Plant we are looking for a :Infrastructure ManagerPosition Overview:As an Infrastructure Manager at Holcim, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and overseeing our infrastructure projects, with a specific focus on sustainable and innovative building techniques. This position is central to the revamping of our cement plant buildings, where you will evaluate, plan, and manage renovations and constructions using modern, eco-friendly technologies.You will also be instrumental in supporting the GO4ZERO project, focusing on infrastructure project management aspects. Your expertise will guide the incorporation of advanced systems such as fire detection and extinction systems, as well as automated sampling and sample treatment systems.You will ensure that all infrastructure-related activities align with our zero-accident, zero-environmental violations, and zero-compliance breaches goals. Additionally, you will be responsible for identifying and managing future infrastructure projects, proactively seeking opportunities that align with our strategic objectives and maintaining the highest standards of quality and sustainability.Key Responsibilities:Evaluate the current state of our buildings, identifying areas for renovation and parts that require demolishing.Engage in comprehensive research and planning for incorporating sustainable building techniques, including rainwater harvesting, heat pumps, and other green technologies.Acquire in-depth knowledge about modern techniques in building, including insulation, home automation, and ensure the building's passive features.Translate the needs of various stakeholders into a detailed specification document to aid in the selection of construction partners.Ensure that the revamped buildings exemplify the cutting-edge solutions Holcim brings to the market, making them a beacon or lighthouse for the European cement sector.Oversee and manage construction and renovation sites, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.Implement and maintain advanced infrastructure systems including fire detection and extinction systems, and automated sampling and sample treatment systems.GO4ZERO Project InvolvementContribute to the GO4ZERO project, focusing specifically on aspects related to infrastructure project management.Provide expert guidance and support in the planning, execution, and oversight of infrastructure-related components within the GO4ZERO initiative.Ensure that all infrastructure projects under the GO4ZERO umbrella adhere to the highest standards of safety, efficiency, and sustainability.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align infrastructure project goals with the overarching objectives of the GO4ZERO project.Taking Charge of Future Infrastructure ProjectsAssume responsibility for identifying, planning, and managing future infrastructure projects within the organization.Be proactive in recognizing emerging infrastructure opportunities and in developing proposals for innovative projects.Coordinate with various stakeholders to ensure that new infrastructure projects align with the company's overall strategic objectives.Oversee the development and implementation of these projects, ensuring they meet the highest standards in terms of quality, sustainability, and efficiency.Qualifications & Experience:Bachelor's/Master's degree in Real Estate, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.Proven experience in leading large-scale infrastructure and real estate projects.Strong understanding of the latest trends and techniques in sustainable building and construction.Excellent project management, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.Excellent command of French and English.Strategic thinker with a proven ability to conceive and implement property-related strategies.#J-18808-Ljbffr
