Position Overview: The Infrastructure Project Manager - Finance for the Infrastructure & Operations (I&O) department supports financial planning, analysis, and budget management for I&O projects and operations. This role involves working closely with IT teams to ensure accurate financial reporting, support strategic decision-making, and manage financial aspects of I&O initiatives.
Responsibilities of the Infrastructure Project Manager - Finance: - Budget Management: Prepare, analyze, and manage budgets for I&O programs using tools like Excel, Power BI, and Oracle BI.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports, including variance analysis, for I&O projects and operations.
- Forecasting: Develop and maintain financial models for forecasting and long-term planning.
- Infrastructure Upgrades: Financially support projects aimed at upgrading network infrastructure, including hardware and software enhancements.
- Cloud Migration: Assist in budgeting and financial analysis for cloud migration projects, ensuring cost-effective transitions.
- Data Center Optimization: Provide financial oversight for data center optimization projects, focusing on efficiency and cost savings.
Qualifications for the Infrastructure Project Manager - Finance: - Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in financial analysis or a related role, preferably within an IT environment.
- Technical Proficiency: Experience with financial software and tools like Excel, Power BI, and Oracle BI/SAP, including advanced Excel skills.
- Project Management: PMP certification or extensive project management experience, particularly in managing large-scale I&O projects.
Education Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is required.
- MBA or relevant certification (e.g., CFA) is a plus.
