Infrastructure Project Manager

They are currently looking for an experienced Project Manager to take on cabling infrastructure projects for a large banking client. This role will be based in the New York and New Jersey metro areas mainly, however some travel will be required.
What you'll be doing:
- Serving as the main point of contact between the company and clients for design, operational, and financial matters.
- Managing the financial aspects of projects.
- Generating monthly financial reports for internal review.
- Preparing specific financial documents for each project.
- Creating monthly reports for clients.
- Planning and coordinating design and production activities.
- Managing material procurement and supply chain logistics.
- Coordinating staffing needs according to project plans.
- Overseeing third-party suppliers based on project requirements.
- Ensuring proper project documentation and handover.
- Developing project handover materials.
- Ensuring teams adhere to contractual and commercial responsibilities.
- Providing regular updates through meetings and reports.
- Transferring warranties to the Contracts team upon project completion.
- Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety and Quality Assurance policies.
- Taking overall responsibility for all project team actions.
- Motivating and developing allocated resources.
- Serving as an escalation point for internal and client management teams.
For this role, you'll need:
- Extensive experience in Telecommunications Infrastructure Cabling deployments.
- Extensive experience in LAN / IPT & WiFI deployments
- Strong project planning skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients.
- Adaptability to new services and applications.
- Experience with multiple site design and production activities.
- Ability to motivate and develop project team members.
- Experience in delivering services through sub-contracts.
- Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) approval Enhanced Disclosure Level.
- Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) Tech Manager Level Accreditation.
Ideally, you'll have:
- Experience in Physical Security deployments.
- Familiarity with LAN/IPT & Wi-Fi deployments.
- Experience with migrations and changes.
- Experience in financial and operational reporting at the Director level.
- Qualifications in Prince 2 and BICSi.
