The Infusion Specialist at Prime IV Hydration & Wellness plays a critical role in delivering exceptional care and service to clients seeking hydration therapy, wellness treatments, and vitamin infusions.
This position requires a skilled and compassionate healthcare professional who is adept at administering intravenous (IV) therapies, educating clients on their health and wellness options, and maintaining a safe and welcoming environment.
The Infusion Specialist collaborates closely with the team to ensure a positive and effective client experience, adhering to all clinical protocols and safety standards while embodying the Prime IV commitment to promoting health and vitality.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain fluidity of the operation, ordering supplies, training new employees, communicating with owner, and other management related duties
- Accurately charts all clients you work with
- Provide nutrient consultations
- Sell routine service and products through memberships or series purchases
- Obtain vascular access
- Monitor patient during infusion
- Stock, clean, and basic spa maintenance
- Office administrative duties
- Communicate to the medical compliance team any issues or adverse effects clients experience
- Provide therapeutic communication along with astonishing customer service.
Other duties and projects as assigned by the Clinical Spa Manager.
Requirements
Education and Licensure:
- Active and unrestricted licensure as one of the following:
- Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
- Certified Paramedic, where allowed by state law
- Current certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and/or Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years experience in IV therapy, venipuncture, or infusion-related clinical practice.
- Prior ER and/or Labor in acute care experience is preferred.
Technical Skills:
- Proficient in venipuncture and IV catheter insertion techniques with a high success rate.
- Knowledge of IV fluids, vitamins, and minerals, as well as their therapeutic effects and contraindications.
Interpersonal and Communication Skills:
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to provide a positive, client-focused experience.
- Effective communication skills to educate clients about treatments, address questions, and build trust.
- Strong teamwork abilities to collaborate with colleagues in delivering high-quality service.
Professionalism and Compliance:
- Strict adherence to all clinical protocols, company policies, and applicable state and federal regulations.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and protecting client information in accordance with HIPAA standards.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:
Physical Demands: This role requires a combination of physical activity—including standing, walking, and lifting—and administrative tasks, such as typing, scheduling, and documentation. Success in this position relies on the ability for manual dexterity required to operate medical equipment, perform precise venipunctures, and handle small tools and supplies. Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 25 pounds, such as medical supplies or equipment. Visual and auditory acuity sufficient to observe client responses, read equipment displays, and communicate effectively with clients and team members.
