About the Role:We are seeking a highly skilled Ingredient Control Lead to join our team in MN Plant B. As the Ingredient Control Lead, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and accuracy of all ingredients used in our manufacturing process. You will work closely with the production team to ensure that all ingredients are properly measured, labeled, and stored. Your attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records will be critical to the success of our manufacturing process.Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in food science, chemistry, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in ingredient control or a related field
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience with SAP or other inventory management systems
- Experience leading a team
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the measurement, labeling, and storage of all ingredients used in the manufacturing process
- Maintain accurate records of all ingredients used and ensure that inventory levels are properly maintained
- Work closely with the production team to ensure that all ingredients are available when needed
- Ensure that all ingredients meet our quality standards and take corrective action when necessary
- Train and supervise a team of ingredient control technicians
Skills:As the Ingredient Control Lead, you will use your strong attention to detail and organizational skills to ensure that all ingredients are properly measured, labeled, and stored. Your ability to maintain accurate records and work closely with the production team will be critical to the success of our manufacturing process. Additionally, your experience in ingredient control or a related field will allow you to quickly identify and address any issues that may arise.
