The RoleThis is a full-time role located at our Roxbury site. The Early Childhood Mental Health Clinician will collaborate with the FIRST SOC Family Partner and Project Coordinator to engage, assess, and support families in accessing community-based mental health services for young children referred by the Department of Children and Families. This role involves developing and implementing comprehensive care plans, providing culturally competent and developmentally appropriate assessments and services, and coordinating behavioral and social support within home and community settings. The Clinician will also support caregivers' mental health needs, facilitate groups and events, and participate in grant-related activities, emphasizing both direct service and involvement in policy and systems change efforts to enhance service delivery for underserved populations.What You'll Bring to the TeamWe're looking for someone who's not just qualified but driven. Someone who's excited about making a difference in the lives of children and their families.
  • Master's Degree or higher in social work, psychology, or related field.
  • A Certification in LCSW, LMHC, and/or LICSW is preferred.
  • Have the capacity to serve families in English and Spanish.
  • Academic and professional training in child development and early childhood mental health, including trauma-focused treatment interventions for ages 0-48 months.
