NSC Staffing hiring a Injection Molding Estimator in Indianapolis, IN.Job descriptionThe role of the Injection Molding Estimator will be to develop proposals for in response to inbound customer requests for quotation.The Estimator will analyze drawings, CAD files, specifications, and other documentation to determine manufacturing time, all costs including labor estimates, raw material prices, outside vendor costs, equipment, packaging, etc. as necessary to establish total costs for products, projects, or services.Timely quoting of tools, parts, services, packaging, assembly, and any other components or costs associated with a customers request for quote.Review data to determine material, labor, and machinery requirements. Involve the necessary departments and vendors to submit quotations on new and existing tooling and piece price projects.Set up preliminary program information in MRP system.Manage RFQ and Quote Logs on in process and processed quotations.Assist in sales process, as required, with external sales team and at internal customer meetings.Assist in updating existing part price quotations for customer pricing contracts. Provide general technical assistance to the Sales personnel as required.Perform other duties and responsibilities as required.Experience, Skills, Education and TrainingMinimum 5 years quoting experienceExpert knowledge of the injection molding process and businessHigh level understanding of GD&T and impacts on manufacturingUnderstanding of material specifications and their performancesAbility to operate with and extract data from CAD platformsAutomotive industry experience is a plusInterpretation of drawings and specificationStrong organization skills and ability to prioritizeExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong mathematical and analytical skillsStrong computer skills with ERP experience a plusSelf-motivated individual with a strong attention to detailJob Type: Full-timePay: From $70,000.00 per yearBenefits:
