Shift Timings: Swing Shift: Alternates weekly between 07:00 AM-03:00 PM and 03:00 PM-11:00 PM, 3rd Shift: 11:00 PM-07:00 AM
Job Description:
As an Injection Molding Process Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring safety and quality in our production processes. This position requires a strong understanding of mold installation procedures and the ability to manage the key processing parameters to produce high-quality products.
- Reports To: Typically reports to a department head or manager.
- Safety: Prioritize personal and team safety, following all division safety rules and procedures.
- Mold Installation: Participate in the inspection, installation, and setup of new molds.
- Troubleshooting: Utilize technical aptitude to systematically analyze and solve issues related to tooling, processes, and machinery.
- Process Development: Collaborate with the Engineering team to develop new processes and support productivity initiatives.
- Efficiency Improvement: Work with Shift Process Technicians to enhance the efficiency of existing processes.
- Quality Control: Understand the quality system and accurately interpret data to ensure high-quality production outcomes.
- Documentation: Maintain thorough and accurate documentation and communication of data.
Qualifications:
- Experience: A minimum of five years of hands-on experience in injection molding is preferred.
- Education: A two-year technical degree is preferred.
- Skills: Must pass WorkKeys Mathematics and Technical aptitude tests. Knowledge of the IQMS system and basic PC literacy is required.
- Technical Skills: Ability to set up and operate production equipment, performs quality control checks, and conduct routine maintenance.
