Are you looking for your next opportunity as a Ink Room Tech? We currently have an opening at a client located in the South Charlotte area. This is a 2nd shift position Monday-Thurs 4pm-2am.
Job Responsibilities
- Maintain a safe and well-organized work area.
- Follow standard operating procedures to ensure quality standards are achieved.
- Records color formula in color management software and issues formula and mixing procedure.
- Review daily production schedule to ensure timely preparation and staging of inks.
- Maintains Ink room inventories, (inks, solvent, adhesive, operating supplies).
- Verifies ink components are available and used as specified.
- Performs quality color checks.
- Assists with troubleshooting ink related issues at the press.
- Related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in printing and knowledge of ink procedures.
- Excellent teamwork, and interpersonal communications skills
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain hiqh quality standards.
- Good computer skills plus ability to learn color management software.
- Lift and/or move up to 35 pounds, stoop, squat, crawl, and kneel.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color acuity and the ability to adjust focus.
