Position is Monday through Friday from 8 am to 5 pm with the ability to work additional hours as project needs demand. They have a deep understanding of a product's target users and customers, own and contribute to the product roadmap and prioritize building what matters most to achieve the strategic goals and initiatives behind the product. The ITO Product Manager manages smaller, less critical products or subsets of larger, more critical, or complicated products.An ITO Product Manager effectively communicates status, progress, and outcomes with stakeholders throughout the product life cycle. They frequently meet with marketing, customer service, finance, and company leadership to bring product strategy and vision together and communicate them to product owners, designers, and developers. They integrate stakeholder input and recommend the best path forward, escalating when necessary. They collect and analyze data (usability) on their products and those developed by competitors.
What You'll Do at Arvest: (Other duties may be assigned.)•Develop short and long-term strategies and priorities for a product.•Earn support from key stakeholders for product strategy and priorities by aligning product strategy with business goals and customer needs.•Lead, motivate, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to launch new products, services, features, and enhancements on time and within budget, focusing on stellar and innovative customer experiences. •Conduct market research and analysis to identify market trends and customer needs.•Assist in developing business cases and product requirements to support new product development and enhancements.•Negotiate the implementation of initiatives and make appropriate trade-off decisions to launch features in a high-quality manner. Escalate decisions to the manager when necessary. Make recommendations that deliver maximum value to the end user quickly.•Write precise requirements for major features, determine the right level of detail, and leverage different requirement formats. Determine the level of detail for a requirement spec, leverage different requirement formats, comps, and working prototypes to describe functionality in sufficient detail to successfully drive product implementation, and proactively get feedback at each phase of the initiative. •Manage the product line(s) entire life cycle, including strategic planning, tactical activities, and financial performance reporting, and drive additional profitability. •Define and improve product Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). •Assist in monitoring and tracking product performance against KPIs and recommend actions to improve performance.•Lead the development and attainment of KPIs and success measures for the assigned product.•Create informed business cases to illustrate how proposed features meet business outcomes and justify the expected investment.•Assess product designs and make specific recommendations for improvements. Articulate visually how to solve a particular product problem and help guide the design team's direction. •Research, communicate and stay current on regulatory requirements and industry technology best practices, offerings, and trends such as FinTech, web analytics, digital customer acquisition, retention, servicing and re-engagement platforms, tools, and emerging practices. •Gather industry, customer, and user data to refine the approach, make decisions, manage risk based on the cost of being wrong vs. research cost, determine effective user feedback methods, and distill user feedback to make recommendations for future product enhancements.•Use analytical tools to analyze the results of initiatives and proactively gather insights from ad-hoc queries, which can be used to drive product recommendations and set realistic goals for upcoming initiatives. •Define release content and timing of features to support the product roadmap. •Communicate effectively with diverse audiences, translating business requests into technical needs. Facilitate and resolve disagreements over scope, design, and requirements. •Perform post-launch analysis and recommend next steps with support from the finance team.•Understand and comply with bank policy, laws, regulations, and the bank's BSA/AML Program, as applicable to your job duties. This includes but is not limited to; complete compliance training and adhere to internal procedures and controls; report any known violations of compliance policy, laws, or regulations and report any suspicious customer and/or account activity.
