This position will report to the Innovative Care Program Manager.Job DescriptionJob duties include:1. Be present in clinic touchdown space during agreed-upon hours (hours may change with notice depending on clinic volume and meeting schedule, at least 20 hours per week)2. Proactively interact with clinical team members and with patients, to identify and follow-up on opportunities for recruitment to the IC program, including its Precision Neuroimmunology pipeline and clinical trials3. Remain up-to-date on program's IC/clinical trial portfolio4. Provide clinicians with up-to-date overview of IC and clinical trial portfolio and respond to questions about specific project/study recruitment criteria5. Meet with potential IC program/precision neuroimmunology/clinical trial participants in clinic (and/or communicate with them outside of their clinic visit), to:a. Provide more detail about the Innovative Care Program and particular projects/studiesb. Consent participants for research studies6. Refer clinical research, including clinical trial, recruits to appropriate clinical research team member7. Coordinate recruitment for IC/precision Neuroimmunology pipeline biosamplinga. Directly liaise with designated Bar-Or lab team member in the Center for Neuroinflammation and Neurotherapeuticsb. Coordinate and facilitate logistics of scheduling sample collection and drop off in labc. Ensure that every sample is properly utilized; reschedule sample collection as necessaryRequirements include:1. Being reachable and responsive via text, email, Epic message during working hours2. Ensuring appropriate plan made and communicated for time-sensitive follow up items3. Sensitively stewarding potential clinic recruits in real-time during their clinic visit, in close coordination with clinic providers4.
