DescriptionThe Innovative Solutions Systems Engineer develops processes, procedures, and templates to establish the customer's hard problem on-boarding process and shepherd candidate hard problem projects through the process.The Innovative Solutions Systems Engineer manages the customer's hard problem on-boarding process to accelerate innovative and out-of-the-box solutions to assist programs address the significant capability/technology challenges associated with their cutting-edge programs.The Innovative Solutions Systems Engineer would review proposed new hard problem projects and shepherd them through the customer's hard problem on-boarding process. This involves research, outreach, and analysis to understand what other organizations are doing related to the hard problem and determining what course is best for the customer.The Innovative Solutions Systems Engineer continuously reviews the customer's hard problem on-boarding process for improvement opportunities to optimize this critical process.QualificationsActive TS/SCI clearance with PolyMust have bachelor's degree with minimum of nine (9) years of relevant work experience or seven (7) years with master's degreeExperience working across the NROProficient skills using Microsoft Office applications (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint)Critical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skillsInterpersonal and communication skills for written reports, group discussion, and oral presentationsDesired QualificationsProficient skills using JIRA and ConfluencePrior US military and/or IC customer experienceKnowledge of GEOINT and SIGINT missionsKnowledge of Artificial Intelligence and Machine LearningKnowledge of cyber security practices and how they might be applied to spaceSAIC accepts applications on an ongoing basis and there is no deadline.Covid Policy: SAIC does not require COVID-19 vaccinations or boosters.
