If you want to join our team of over 550 professionals who are passionate about redefining patient experiences, then keep reading for more information.As a full-time Inpatient Nurse Tech, you will work 7a-7p, with 1 8-hour shift/month on a Saturday as the only weekend requirementThe Nurse Technician holds a safety sensitive position and is a competent paraprofessional which assists the registered nurses by assuming responsibility and accountability for direct and indirect patient care. He/she may assist with activities, personal care, comfort measures, maintenance of a safe and clean environment, and certain test/procedures done to a specific patient population (dependent on area) under the direction and supervision of a RN. Supports the nursing and medical staff in an effort to provide optimum patient outcomes.What's required of you? High school graduate or equivalent. Maintains current competency as a Nurse Technician as outlined in the department's competency program. Basic Life Support certification prior to start date, or class to be taken at OSH within 60 days free of charge.Do I need experience? No experience required! Specialty Knowledge Skills: Cognitive, technical and interpersonal skills required to deliver direct and indirect care under the direction of a RN. Cooperation and strong team focus required. Must be knowledgeable and demonstrate competency in current caregiver practices, which are unit/age specific. Still interested?
