The Customer Services Representative will be responsible for providing inside-sales and after-sales support. The primary function of Customer Services is supporting our dealer base through strong communication and attention to detail. Duties include a high volume of phone calls, order entry/maintenance, coordination of freight truck deliveries, and various follow-through activities to support multiple businesses under the XS Scuba umbrella.

This job is an office-environment position located in Santa Ana, CA. This is a full-time, 40-hour workweek position M-F with benefits available after a 90-day probationary period.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Provide a high level of customer support by ensuring customers' requests are understood and addressed quickly.
  • Perform upselling and cross-selling to dealers, including new products, replacements for discontinued or unavailable items, special promotions, or closeout offers.
  • Manage a high volume of incoming calls and e-mails to ensure timely processing of sales orders and return requests.
  • Utilize freight shopping software to determine the best means to ship orders; schedule freight and route shipments.
  • Balance and shift priorities between customer emails, phone calls, and other inquiries.
  • Provide customers with accurate pricing and availability of products.
  • Follow up on customer orders and provide expected delivery dates.
  • Check inventory control.
  • Expedite or trace missing or delayed shipments by working with production, sales, warehouse, and other departments.
  • Perform various clerical duties, including filing and record retention.
  • Requirements:
  • Must be able to effectively prioritize, multi-task, and work well as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, and Outlook).
  • Experience in order processing and customer service is a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience working with Sage 50 or other ERP systems.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Scuba certification is a plus!
