Inside Sales Executive, Business Cards & Payments (Remote Eligible)

Within the Capital One Business Cards & Payments Team, our Inside Sales team works with business owners to create long term, meaningful relationships to better understand their business and their entire B2B wallet. Through a consultative approach, we help business owners optimize the rewards and benefits they receive from their Business Card products.

What You'll Do

As a member of our Inside Sales Team, you will be identifying and reaching out to businesses to grow the Capital One brand. You will serve as a dedicated point of contact for Business Card Customers assisting them in identifying and utilizing the right product to meet their current and future business needs. The ideal candidate will:

  • Be comfortable in a hunter role, responsible for securing new business by phone.

Job responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Acquiring new Capital One Business Card clients within a designated territory.
  • Securing appointments directly with new prospects via cold calling, networking, referrals, etc.
  • Engaging in phone consultations with business owners and decision makers, learning about their needs, and recommending products to achieve rewards goals.
  • Effectively managing a pipeline of clients & prospects.
  • Analyzing a business's total spend to identify the right card product and additional opportunities.
  • Assisting the business with incorporating the card into their purchasing platform and bookkeeping software.
  • Achieving incremental charge volume targets.
  • Complying in all client activities and follow up through use of Salesforce.com.

Basic Qualifications:

  • At least 2 years of acquisitions experience or at least 2 years of outbound sales experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or Military experience.
  • 3+ years experience growing existing business relationships and acquiring new customers in an inside or outside sales environment.
  • 3+ years of experience meeting a sales metric or sales goal.
  • 2+ years of experience working with small or medium size business customers.
  • Strong computer skills, and ability to multitask and navigate web-based tools.
  • Proficiency using Salesforce.com, Microsoft Office, and Google Suite.
