Job Summary:The Inside Salesperson will play a key role in supporting the sales team by managing customer inquiries, processing orders, and providing exceptional service to clients. This position involves working closely with customers to understand their needs, provide product information, and assist in finding the right solutions. The ideal candidate will be customer-focused, detail-oriented, and possess strong communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Support: Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and online platforms, providing product information and guidance on order status.
  • Order Management: Process sales orders, track shipments, and ensure timely delivery of products to customers.
  • Sales Support: Assist the sales team by preparing quotes, proposals, and sales documentation. Follow up on leads and maintain detailed records in the CRM system.
  • Product Knowledge: Develop a deep understanding of the company's product offerings and stay up-to-date with industry trends to effectively communicate benefits to customers.
  • Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling products.
  • Problem Resolution: Address customer issues and complaints promptly, working with internal teams to resolve any problems and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Market Feedback: Gather and report customer feedback to sales and product teams, contributing to product improvements and strategic planning.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in inside sales, customer service, or a related role, preferably in the manufacturing or industrial sector.
  • Education: High school diploma or GED required; an associate's or bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, or a related field is preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey technical information clearly and concisely.
  • Customer-Focused: Strong customer service orientation with the ability to build rapport and maintain long-term relationships.
  • Attention to Detail: Highly organized with a keen eye for detail and accuracy in order processing and documentation.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Proactive approach to problem-solving with a strong sense of urgency.
