**Inside Sales Representative**

Westbrook, ME Sales & Marketing Our Water line of business is looking to add additional Inside Sales Representatives to their team! Our Inside Sales Representative's are responsible for selling the value IDEXX Water products and services to customers and prospects. You will partner with an Inside and Outside Water Sales Representative to communicate the strengths and value of the IDEXX Water products and services with a targeted sales approach leading to profitable revenue growth and customer satisfaction. It will be important to identify new sales opportunities and maintain effective relationships with existing customers.

These positions offer competitive base pay, **quarterly commission** and an additional end of year bonus.

**In the role of Inside Sales Representative:**

-You will communicate the value of the IDEXX products over the phone.

- You will acquire new customers by prospecting and grow existing customer business.

-Youll build, manage, and document a sales pipeline through Salesforce.com.

-Collaborate with your field sales colleagues to increase revenue year over year in your regions.

-You will build a strategy with your Inside and Outside Sales Representative partner in order to grow sales in your territory.

-You will gain experience working with a diverse group of customers in public health, private and municipal laboratories.

**Shift info:** You will work an 8 hour shift between the c ore business hours are between 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. EST, Monday through Friday.

**What you need to succeed:**

-You will have 3+ years of sales experience and the motivation to consistently achieve or exceed sales goals.

-Prior prospecting/territory management experience.

-You bring prior sales experience in a scientific field a plus.

-You have a proven track record of closing sales and meeting quarterly sales goals.

-Comfortable and proficient with basic financial analysis.

-You will have the ability and passion to develop, grow and manage customer relationships.

-You will have strong time management skills in order to prioritize sales activities, i.e., in/outbound calls, email communications, web inquiries, Salesforce sales pipeline activities.

-You will have strong listening skills and be able to ask follow up questions in order to further understand and respond to customers specific needs and concerns.

-You will be self-motivated, a team player and well organized in order to work in a fast-paced sales environment.

-You will have the ability to understand technical products.

**Travel**

-Some travel required, 2 trips per year(Post COVID).

This position is based out of our Westbrook ME location. However, due to the current COVID -19 pandemic, our Inside Sales Representatives are temporarily working from home full-time.
