Inside Sales Representative
Our client, a rapidly expanding industrial supplier, who specializes in providing top-notch technical solutions to a diverse range of industries, is currently seeking a skilled Inside Sales Representative. This role will play a crucial part in supporting the outside sales team and contributing to their overall growth strategy.
Responsibilities:
•Handle the preparation and processing of sales orders, quotes, and purchase orders.
•Collaborate effectively with the external sales team to develop and maintain customer relationships, focusing on problem-solving and sales target achievement.
•Actively engage in identifying and understanding the requirements of customers.
•Oversee and coordinate orders with extended lead times, ensuring effective communication with suppliers, our external sales team, and clients.
•Manage and negotiate product pricing with customers, ensuring accurate margins.
•Collaborate with management to address issues related to pricing, product specifications, warranties, and modifications in service offerings.
•Maintain robust relationships with clients and vendors, both in person and via telephone.
•Monitor the progress of order fulfillment, providing updates and addressing any potential issues or modifications.
•Apply knowledge of competitors and dynamics in the market during competitive bidding scenarios.
Qualifications/Requirements:•High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in business, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
•Minimum of 2 years in inside sales, specifically in industrial products, pumps, motors, or controls.
•Solid understanding of pumps; ability to quickly learn and adapt to new product lines.
•Excellent verbal and written communication abilities; proficiency in creating and delivering presentations.
•Strong customer service orientation; experience in handling customer inquiries and resolving issues efficiently.
•Proven ability to work collaboratively with an outside sales team; willingness to provide support and insights to enhance team performance.
•Familiarity with CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant computer applications.
•Exceptional organizational and time-management skills; ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
