**Inside Sales Representative (Remote)**
**Department:** Sales **Location:** Winooski, VT
The Opportunity:
You are exceptionally good at:
* Outbound prospecting to districts and schools containing ~750 students or less
* Managing the sales cycle from prospect to customer
* Presenting the Reading Plus SaaS solution to prospects
* Creating a Territory Plan and executing the plan
* Managing the leads queue and qualifying inbound leads
* Working cross-functionally with Marketing, Research, and Success teams
* Assisting with State-level campaigns in partnership with sales team members
* Practicing lead and opportunity hygiene on a daily basis
What you'll need to be successful in this role:
* 1+ years of direct sales experience
* Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
* Thorough understanding of the K-12 sector
* Basic understanding of typical sales processes
* Understanding of educational issues, customer needs, and funding sources
* Strong communication skills and demonstrated experience conducting presentations to all levels, including senior management staff and senior level customers
* Excellent planning, organizational and prioritization skills
* Demonstrated ability to work effectively on multiple projects simultaneously
* Proficient with Google Suite, Slack, and Virtual Presentations
