Job Description:
Inside Sales- Strategic Account Specialist Summary: The Inside Sales Specialist is expected to have the ability to connect with customers and build appropriate rapport to have a thorough understanding of their needs, expectations and requirements to achieve customer satisfaction and to communicate their needs to the manufacturing team. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs.
  • Field large volume of communications from customers taking orders and setting up delivery schedules.
  • Entering, confirming, and managing customer orders in ERP system.
  • Work with the Engineering Department and Business Development Managing, entering, and submitting quotes to customers.
  • Working with Production Control and other departments to collect information to effectively communicate schedules with customers.
  • Resolving customer concerns by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing responses, and making recommendations to management.
  • Willingness to present ideas for continuous improvement of processes within team and organization.
  • An ability to manage emotions in challenging situations and guide customers to effective, mutually beneficial solutions.
  • Ability to create, maintain and analyze advanced Excel spreadsheets, including company budgets and forecasts.Qualification/Requirements:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (oral, written and presentation).
    • 3+ years' proven experience in an inside sales role, customer services/retention capacity and exceptional customer support in a fast-paced environment.
    • Prior manufacturing experience or similar industry preferred, but not required for proper skillset.
    • Strong problem-solving skills and data analysis abilities
    • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Excel, Outlook, and Word; experience working with database products including Smartsheet is a plus.
    • A high degree of reliability, commitment, tenacity, teamwork and creative energy to achieve success.
    • Excellent time management skills
    • Able to work with minimum supervision.
