SUMMARY

As the Inside Sales Team Lead, you will play a pivotal role in driving the performance of our inbound inside sales team. You will be responsible for coaching, mentoring, motivating, providing real-time feedback to our team of inside sales representatives, ensuring that sales goals are met and exceeded. Reporting to the Inside Sales Manager, you will help streamline processes, improve sales techniques, and ensure exceptional customer service.

WHAT YOU'LL OWN…

  • Represent our company, with a comprehensive understanding of our offerings and pricing catalog.
  • Work closely with sales representatives to offer guidance, answer questions, and provide sales training when needed to help the team meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Assist in the creation and delivery of training programs and materials to ensure the team is fully equipped with the knowledge and skills to succeed. This includes onboarding new team members and providing ongoing training as needed.
  • Assist in identifying opportunities to streamline sales workflows and improve customer interactions, ensuring consistent and efficient sales execution.
  • Step in to assist with complex customer inquiries or escalations, ensuring timely resolution and maintaining customer satisfaction.
  • Assist the Inside Sales Manager with creating and managing team schedules to ensure proper coverage. Monitor adherence to scheduled shifts and breaks.
  • Monitor key sales and productivity metrics (e.g., conversion rates, call handling, reply time) and provide actionable insights to the Inside Sales Manager to optimize team performance.
  • Work alongside the Inside Sales Manager to support the team's ongoing development and performance improvements, ensuring alignment with overall sales goals.
  • Help in maintaining and executing the quality program to ensure high standards of service and sales effectiveness.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3+ years of inside sales experience, with demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales targets. Experience in a supervisory, coaching or mentorship role is preferred.
  • Proven track record of success in a full sales cycle, from prospecting to closing.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. Proven ability to provide constructive feedback and coach for performance improvement.
  • Deep understanding of sales techniques, particularly in a call center inbound sales environment.
  • The strong ability to overcome objections in a sale and train/coach others to do the same.
  • Team builder and results-driven coach, mentor, and role model who manages and develops best-in-class talent and drives group results through teamwork and individual performance improvement.
  • Experience using CRM systems and other sales tools to track performance and streamline processes.
  • Problem-solving ability; creative thinking.
