This extra effort and determination helps us deliver stressless events for our clients, while providing us with transformative opportunities to learn, grow, and spread joy.What You'll DoThe Tent Sales Manager manages the Woburn Tent Sales and Administrative Team and Project Managers as well as the company's customer service. This includes but is not limited to hiring, training, motivating and providing ongoing professional development opportunities for the Tent Sales & Project Management Teams the development of sales goals and strategies, maintaining a high level of customer service through both the team and personal interactions with clients, resolving customer issues, and helping to develop annual sales forecasts and strategies. This position reports directly to the VP of Sales - Tent Division and is based in Woburn, MA with travel as needed.The Day-to-DaySALES & CUSTOMER SERVICE •Manage and oversee the day-to-day activities of the Tent Sales & Project Management Team •Implement results-driven sales programs to meet annual sales goals•Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual sales forecast•Manage and provide reporting on the Sales Pipeline and existing account growth •Responsible for the development of new business and the expansion of services to existing customer base•Identifies opportunities including existing and new customers, venues and markets•Manages Annual Projects, account growth and process•Responds to customer issues by working with sales representatives and personally contacting customers when the situation warrants it•Collaborates with other Tent Team Directors and Managers to ensure a smooth customer experience from the sales process all the way to the actual event itself and avoid duplicate efforts•Meets regularly with the VP of Sales - Tent Division to develop and implement sales goals and strategies•Provides sales information to the company's Senior Management team•Identifies new product and service opportunities using feedback from customers•Tracks the commission program for the Tent Sales Team •Assists in the recruitment and hiring of Tent Sales Team members•Analyzes and monitors the results of the Tent Sales Team , both individually and as a Department•Perform other duties as neededMORALE & CULTURE•Manages the schedules of the Tent Sales & Project Management Team •Conducts annual performance evaluations•Build an open-communication culture inside the team•Ensures that company initiatives are rolled out smoothly with the team•Coach, train, evaluate and monitor sales representative's performance•Performance management of employees•Oversees training for the Tent Sales & Project Management Team PROJECT MANAGEMENT•Collaboratively work with operations teams across all locations•Manage the calendar for Tent Sales Consultant and Project Managers on job sites•Work with operations team to identify synergistic opportunities and efficiencies among divisions •Oversee the use of project management tools and foster internal collaboration and cooperation •Ensure Project Management milestones are met throughout the pre-production, installation and removal processRequirementsWhat We're Looking For•Bachelor degree and 3-5 years of related experience•Event rental industry experience is strongly preferred but not required•Familiarity with Production or Project Management, Operations-heavy companies, and Sales strategies •Strong focus on customer and client services•Experience in Customer Service•Experience with CRM software and ERP systems preferred but not required•Knowledge of the event planning process and understanding of the mechanics of executing successful events•Must be comfortable working in a fast paced & constantly changing environment•Demonstrated ability to be flexible and have a Make it Happen attitude•Strong verbal, written communication and presentation skills•Excellent decision-making and problem solving skills•Excellent analytical, organizational and project management skills•Ability to multi-task •Ability to work well independently as well as in groups•Demonstrated ability to negotiate and exude confidence with clients•Strong knowledge of sales principals•Highly motivated, whatever it takes approach and willingness to work weekendsWhy You'll Like Working Here •Our incredible compensation combo of Competitive Pay, Paid Time Off + Paid Holidays•Support for your personal life + wellbeing •We like to celebrate + we do it often! •Encouragement for Volunteer Days + giving back to our communities•We foster and embrace an inclusive and diverse work cultureCompensation and Our Full Suite of Benefits•$95,000 Annual Salary + Bonus•Medical, Dental + Vision Insurance•Company-Paid Basic Life + AD&D Insurance•Short Term & Long Term Disability Insurance•Telehealth + Wellness •Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs)•Employee Assistance Program•Travel Assistance •401K Retirement Plan + Employer Matching More About Us•We're not just a rental events company - our PEAK Code drives the work we do, every day. •We're partners in problem solving.
