Minimum qualifications for apprenticeship are: Minimum 17 years of age to apply, high school diploma or GED (Documentation required), valid driver's license, one full year of high school algebra (or its equivalent) with a grade of āCā or better, and qualifying score on an aptitude test. Honorably discharged veterans and individuals with previous electrical work and/or training experience may also qualify for direct entry.Applicants meeting basic requirements will be selected based on order of final ranking.
