Overview
NOTE: Hiring for 1st Shift, 2nd Shift*, and 3rd Shift* (Monday-Friday; 8hr/shift)
* $1/hr Shift Differential
Provides technical support to the quality and quality engineering (QE) functions | Conducts quality control (QC) inspections on products, materials, components, parts, etc., at various stages of the production process to ensure compliance with established quality and reliability standards | Captures and analyzes statistical data from processes to either confirm compliance with established standards or identify deviations from standards | Recommends new or enhanced methods, procedures and standards
Major Position Responsibilities
* Performs repetitive and routine inspections, checks, tests and sampling procedures of standard parts, units, equipment, or materials.
* Performs inspections of purchased parts, subassemblies or finished company products according to well-defined criteria using standard physical, mechanical and/or electrical measurements.
* Reworks or rejects subassemblies or finished products as required.
* Performs audits to ensure standards of quality are maintained.
* Documents the results of the inspections and testing.
* Coordinates calibration of test equipment and fixtures.
* Assists with inspection procedures, protocol and checklists.
Basic Qualifications
Required Education: High School Diploma/GED Preferred Education: Vocational/Technical Training Degree Years and Area of Experience (required for the role): 0-3 years prior experience in a similar position. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Oral and written communication skills. Mathematical skills. Computer skills. Technical expertise. Detail oriented.
